STORY FOR FOOD (SFF) is a social art project that proposes a model for an alternative economy based on stories. We encourage story sharing, audio collect undocumented stories and exchange them for food. We organise story installations, storytelling workshops, acoustic cinema nights, and a series of events, where a selection of stories are translated into food (FOODBACK), music (MUSICBACK), art objects (ARTBACK), songs (SONGBACK) etc. We also run a radio show on the Berlin Brandenburg Freies Radios.
The initiative STORY FOR FOOD is based on the concept "STORY FOR # an alternative economy based on stories", developed by Christina Kyriazidi in 2016.
'⃝ Each story will be exchanged for a coffee in different parts of the city, while food gift vouchers will be offered to unemployed people. We will also record stories from the Roma communities in Chania that will be showcased on the social media of ᗯ𝚎 ᒪ𝚘𝚟𝚎 S𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚜 during the festival.
